For the past five years, there has been increasing clinical research on the
use of cannabinoids for pain relief. Cannabinoid products are available for
research and clinical use, and pharmaceutical companies continue to show interest
in the potential for using cannabinoids in pain treatment. This article summarizes
recent clinical trial data in pain management and suggests that the potential
