Serife Eti, MD

Dr. Serife Eti is Director of the Fellowship Program in Palliative Medicine in the Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care. She is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Eti received her MD degree at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey where she completed the residency program in Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. She also completed the residency program in Family and Social Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. She was trained in fellowship programs in Clinical Pharmacology and Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Cornell Weill Medical College and Beth Israel Medical Center, respectively. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. Her clinical and research interests include delivery models for palliative care in the community and in hospitals, treatment of cancer pain, and management of chronic serious illness.
