Leir Retreat Center Hosts Palliative Care Conference Members of the DPMPC presented a one-day seminar on Ethics and Other Challenges in End-of-Life Care held at the Leir Retreat Center in Ridgefield, Connecticut, on May 18, 2010. The program was organized by the Leir Charitable Foundations, longtime major supporters of the DPMPC, to disseminate knowledge of palliative care to staff at a local Connecticut hospital and hospice organizations.
