The Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical
Center, New York, is seeking nurse practitioners.
Full Time
Two full-time positions. Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 5:15 P.M. NYS
RN and NP license and certification, 2-5 years experience as a Nurse
Practitioner and/or experience as an RN.
Per Diem
One per-diem position. NYS RN and NP license and certification, 2-5
years experience as a Nurse Practitioner and/or experience as an RN.
IPU Manager - Jacob Perlow
Hospice
Responsible for all aspects of quality, cost effectiveness, consistency,
competency and integration of the hospice interdisciplinary team and
services within a designated inpatient unit. These services include
referral relations, admissions, home care, inpatient care, volunteer
and bereavement. Supervises all personnel involved in those services.
Insures effectiveness and quality of relationships with all sources
of referrals, i.e., nursing homes, home health agencies, hospitals.
Collaborates with other team managers and directors to ensure program
integrity, excellence and fiscal viability. Masters Degree in Nursing
or related field preferred.
