The Shaare Zedek Cancer Pain
and Palliative Medicine Reference Database is once again available online.
This bibliographic database contains over 30,000
references on cancer pain and palliative care. The entire library, including monthly updates,
is downloadable for use on desktops or PDAs--at no charge.
Dr.
Nathan Cherny's gateway to his personal reference library
represents a 12-year effort in collecting and cataloging these
references for use by everyone in the pain and palliative
care fields. Most articles are presented with abstracts. Bibliographic
software, such as Endnote™ or Reference Manager™, allows
users to quickly and easily insert more citations and build
their own personal libraries.
Once the library is downloaded, it can be updated from the
homepage--or with individualized search results. This valuable
resource can facilitate rapid literature reviews and location
of key references.
