Advance Practice Nurse: Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care


The Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, is seeking Advance Practice Nurses (APNs) for pain management and palliative care.

Advance Practice Nurse: Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care

APNs for Pain Medicine and Palliative Care are primarily responsible for pain and symptom management of patients with acute pain and malignant and nonmalignant chronic pain in ambulatory and inpatient settings. APNs will consult on pain management with the nursing staff and serve as liaisons between the Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care (DPMPC) and Patient Care Services. APNs in the DPMPC will provide leadership in developing evidence-based standards of care, educational programs, and quality improvement studies. Masters degree required, NP preferred.
